Join us for the first Bootcamp to focus on Chamber Music with Phoebe Carrai (cello), Peter Sykes (keyboard), and Cynthia Roberts (violin)! Don’t miss this chance to study with 3 prestigious Juilliard professors who have collaborated for many years. Bootcamp is open to advanced Baroque players who have a pre-formed ensemble (4 or more players) or individual players looking for a chance to collaborate with others. Applications are limited to pre-formed ensembles and individual violin, viola, cello, bass/violone, and keyboard players with continuo experience. Note: no solo masterclasses are offered at BCMB. A=415 on period instruments for all participants and auditors.

Full participants will receive individual coachings as well as masterclass coachings and technique classes, and can participate in reading sessions.

Auditors are invited to participate in technique classes, watch coachings, and participate in music reading sessions!

  • Those who want to join a wider community of musicians

  • Those who don’t have quite enough experience yet to participate.

Tuition

Full Participants: $430*

To Locate First Church from Harvard Square, follow the giant SHERATON sign to the west. It is across the street from the Cambridge Common (park).

Parking in Cambridge is hard. There are 1-hour and 2-hour meters available for street parking. Ticketing is rampant. However, we may be able to help with parking passes for about $20 per day. We encourage carpooling to save costs.

Another option would be to park at the Alewife T Station in Cambridge for $3-$9 per day. It is an easy 3 stops to Harvard Station.
